The agreement between you and the developer of Bandit. In plain terms: Bandit is a player, you bring your own sources, and you are responsible for what you connect it to.

By downloading or using Bandit (the “App”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is licensed, not sold, to you by its developer (“we”, “us”), and your use is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which applies in addition to these terms.
Bandit is a media player. It hosts, provides, streams and distributes no media content of any kind. It ships with no channels, no libraries, and no sources. Everything you watch comes from servers, portals and shares that you configure and control. Bandit simply connects to what you already have and plays it.
You choose what to connect Bandit to, and you are solely responsible for those sources — for having the right to access and play their content, and for complying with the law where you live. You agree not to use the App to infringe copyright or to break any applicable law. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content, availability, or conduct of any third-party server, portal, share, or add-on catalogue you connect.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service and Apple’s standard EULA. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the App except to the extent that applicable law (or an open-source licence covering a component, see below) expressly permits.
The App — its design, interface, and original code — belongs to us and is protected by copyright and trademark. Bandit includes the open-source VLCKit media framework, which is licensed under the GNU LGPL/GPL; your rights in that component are governed by its own licence, and it remains the property of its authors. Artwork, titles, descriptions and ratings displayed in the App belong to their respective owners and are provided by the sources you connect.
Bandit is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple, Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, Stremio, or any other service it is compatible with. All product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and “compatible with” never implies endorsement.
Bandit is free to use with one source. Bandit Pro unlocks unlimited sources and is sold only through the Apple App Store, using Apple’s in-app purchase system (StoreKit), subject to Apple’s terms. Pro is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. For the subscription options:
All payment is processed by Apple — we never receive or process your card or billing details.
This licence stays in effect until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach these terms, and you may end it at any time by deleting the App. The sections on ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will connect to, or play content from, every server, codec, container, or provider. You use it at your own discretion and risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App (if any) in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing here limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law where you live.
